Questions? We've got answers.

The four-day week
How does the four-day school week work?
We hold focused, full school days Monday through Thursday. Fridays are for family, rest, work, enrichment, and homework — so students cover a full, rigorous curriculum in four intentional days.
What are the daily hours?
School runs Monday–Thursday, 8:00 AM–3:30 PM. Fridays are field-trip and homework days.
Is transportation provided?
Transportation is not provided by the school — families arrange their own, and we warmly encourage carpooling.
Campuses & class size
What grades are at each campus?
We have two campuses in Clackamas: Elementary (K–5) at 12152 SE Mather Rd, and the Eastridge campus (6–12) at 14100 SE Sunnyside Rd.
How big are the classes?
Small by design. Small class sizes with individualized support mean every student is known by name and kept on track.
Academics
Is SMCA accredited?
Yes — Spring Mountain is fully accredited K–12 by the Northwest Accreditation Commission (NWAC), a division of Cognia.
Do you offer college prep — AP and dual credit?
Yes. AP and honors courses, plus dual credit and early start with George Fox University and dual enrollment through Clackamas Community College. 100% of our graduates are accepted to college.
Admissions & cost
How do I apply, and what's the timeline?
Start with a tour, then apply. Enrollment is open and ongoing — enroll by Aug 15 to secure your spot for fall. See Admissions Requirements for the details.
What does tuition cost? Is financial aid available?
Tuition is set per student by grade (K4 & K5 $5,450 up to grades 9–12 $7,000), with multi-child discounts, a GPA scholarship for grades 7–12, and need-based assistance. See Tuition & Aid.
Do you accept international students?
Yes — we're authorized to issue I-20 forms for the F-1 student visa. See our International Students page.
Faith & community
What's your faith background? Do we have to be Christian to attend?
SMCA is an independent, interdenominational, Christ-centered school. Families come from many churches and backgrounds, and all are welcome — we simply ask families to support the biblical worldview we teach from.
Is there a dress code?
Yes. You'll find our current dress code policy in Parent Resources.
Come see it for yourself.
The best way to understand SMCA is to walk the halls, meet a teacher, and watch a small class at work. Book a tour — we'd love to meet your family.
