We keep admissions personal. Here's what we look for and the simple steps from first conversation to first day.
What we look for
A family partnership, first.
Admission begins with a parental commitment to your family's role in raising and training your children. Families agree to support the biblical worldview we teach from and uphold the Christian values and policies in our Handbook.
Applicants should be in good academic and behavioral standing at their previous school. Students in grades 6–12 attest in writing their own willingness to attend and to follow school policies.
Age for kindergarten & first grade
Starting ages.

- Age 5 by August 31
- 1st Grade
- Age 6 by August 31

The process
From first hello to first day.
Family interview
Every new family meets with us before admission so we can get to know one another.
Assessment & screening
New students take an entrance assessment; kindergarteners complete a Readiness Screening with our staff.
Enroll & commit
Complete enrollment forms and agree to support the school with prayer and a positive attitude.
Orientation
Attend Parent Orientation Night (typically in August) and review the Parent-Student Handbook.
SMCA welcomes a wide range of learners. Because our campuses are small, we may be unable to enroll students whose needs exceed the staff, resources, or facilities we currently have — we'll talk this through honestly with every family.
