Placement Test:
To ensure correct placement within the SMCA school, a student will complete the WRAT4 placement test. The test will be administered at the SMCA school in accordance with the procedures outlined in the WRAT4 administering test book. One hour usually is enough for testing. The test measures the student’s math and English skills based on the grade level. The results will provide the administration with needed information to determine the student's academic potential.
After the new family interview and testing, the admission committee will determine whether or not the student is accepted for enrollment. Parents will be notified by the school secretary within two weeks regarding a decision to accept or deny the student’s enrollment. If a student is accepted, a fully completed and signed application form must be returned to the school office with all registration fees paid in full by the date established on the acceptance notification.
Previous school standardized testing scores, report card/transcript, and other school related documents will be requested from the releasing school.
We look forward to partnering with you to educate your student.
